My wife and I enjoy surrounding ourselves with pleasant things, and it's important to us that the objects we come into contact with on a daily basis are pleasing to both the eye and touch. We strive for this in our small business, in a little workshop where we have only a few necessary machines and where the carving knife, spokeshave, and sandpaper are the main tools. I carve utensils every day, wherever and whenever my three children allow me to do so.
We use wood from sustainable sources, carefully selecting each piece for its intended purpose. We approach the tree with respect and reverence, trying not to waste any part of it and using each piece efficiently. Every utensil is turned over and over in our hands until it achieves the right shape. We stamp each utensil in a way that makes it last as long as possible, bringing joy to generations to come.

An interesting piece of information about our logo... similar symbols were found on the bottom of prehistoric vessels in Europe. At that time, people believed in the power of symbols to improve the quality of their food.
